I live in a small city with about 150,000 people and we’re located right next to the biggest army base in the U.S. Our largest age group in this area is 25-44. What are some cheap and effective ways to advertise speed dating here, being that its the first of its kind on a large scale?

Newspaper ad. Do the newspapers or radio stations have good web pages? Do these web pages have dating or personals sections? Set up a system to gather people’s email addresses, so that when you have an event you can do a big email mailing to let people know. Do you have your own web site? Can you give flyer’s to all the bartenders at the singles bars? Can you put up flyer’s on the bulletin boards at the colleges? Can you put up flyer’s on the bulletin boards at the social hall on the base? How about those ads on the screen in the theater before the movie starts? How about those coupon mailings that we get in the mail?
