What is the singles dating scene like in Washington DC?

dating
Alex K asked:

I am new to this city, and I am single 26 years old and I was wondering what people thought of the dating scene in DC compared to other cities.

What are the girls like? Are they “easy”, are they “snobbish”, compared to women in other cities?

Thanks!

Let’s see, many people refer to polticians as whores. Enough said?

Well it seems like people have nothing but bad things to say so I’ll say something nice.

Even though I never lived in DC, I know that there are women everywhere that are interesting that can teach you something about something. So go out, have fun, and see for yourself

I kind of agree but except men are maybe more poetic like into portray I mean.
So that would make then more romantic.
Now from a woman’s opinion. I love it up there it’s pretty.

    Women adapt to the environment…

It is a transient city with many wealthy, powerful men (and worse of all, frequently lawyers).

Many of these men are single, divorced or have little problem with cheating on their wives (Remember the city’s Bureaucrats and Influential rallied around Clinton in the 90’s).

The ratio is not good. If you read there are more women than men, it is because it is only counting the district (not the suburbs), and many of the male locals are in prison or off the grid.

This is not a good mix for normal guys–even if you are very eligible with a good future.

Politics permeates everything and can really get in the way of normal social networking and interaction. After all, politics doesn’t go hand-in-hand with honest interactions and real connections.

After all, the best synonym for “politics” is “sales”.
