Seriously? The guy gave what might have been the best answer ever given by a football coach to any question and that is what you do is knock him for his choice of conjugation?

    That was beautiful.

Whaaa.. ? The entire purpose of a dictionary is to give information and meaning about words used in a language.

Conversate is a word and it is slang.
    ‘Whaaa’ is not a word.

still, conversate is not a word. dictionaries do not say what is a word and what is not, rather they present what people speaking English say.

Kyle Field will be hosting another home loss.

    Yes, that is correct.

Conversate and converse are both in the dictionary.

  16. mattpk33, 6. November 2008, 14:13

no. conversate is a false backformation from conversation. the verb he should have used was converse

I think this qualifies as online mischief ahahaha. Not bad tips really, guy seems pretty down to earth. Hilarious choice of phrases though, hey baby, wanna trade computer schemes?

In “honor” of the Leach, Kyle Field will host Puffy Shirt Night on October 18th. The first 25,000 fans through the gate will receive a complimentary Puffy Shirt courtesy of Highway 6, the quickest way out of College Station. Fans will be allowed to bring cutlasses from home, but only those under 14″ with matching scabbard.

Judges rule: conversate NOT a word, unless you spell your last name “B.I.G.” and women refer to you as “big papa.”

Please consult a dictionary. “Conversate” is a word.

Last night I took this fine ***** out. We went to some place casual, I called ahead and told the waiter to claim they were out of lettuce so she couldn’t eat a salad, so she ate a steak. Then we went to a drive-in theater in Wyoming, not bad. Then we went to some coffee shop with weirdos, long story short I totally traded computer schemes with her all night long…I told her I’d email her tomorrow, but I’m totally not going to!

I am waiting on his yearly disses on A&M after we stomp them. I think A&M has won once over Mike Leach since he took over Texas Tech if I recall correctly. I hope he stays at TTU till he retires…
