For men no signs or simptoms occur and the only way to not get it is to not have sex. It is transmitted through skin to skin contact. Even if a condom is used all the genital area is not protected. Honestly, HPV usually gors away on it’s own. Go to HPVinfo.com that will answer any and all questions you have.

Use condoms. HPV can cause cervical cancer.

HVP is transmitted through skin to skin contact. You can never completely protect yourself, seeing as how condoms dont cover EVERYTHING. HVP can lead to genital warts which can appear on the skin AROUND your orgins, not just on them.

It depends if they have HPV with gential warts or without. I have HPV without the gential warts. I can say that if you have had sex with or without protection you may already be a carry of the virus though it will not harm you. I guess the main thing is that you make the girls you date get the vaccine, so they are not prone to get it. I know that a lot of people have it and not all males carry it though some will tell you that.
