Mine only took a few minutes. They just measured the baby in a few different places, and we got to hear the heartbeat! (rare for 8 weeks). They didn’t really ask me questions then, since I had just seen the nurse the day before. But my first appointment they asked both my husband and I all about our medical histories. Good luck!

I got mine done at 17 weeks, because I had no idea I was pregnant before that, as I had a very weird first trimester..
I was in the scan room for a total of 20 minutes.
they measured the baby at different angles,
like head to rump, the fumer (which is the leg)
and a few other things. they assured me I was only carrying one baby, and that they could see no abnormalities, and told me I had enough amniotic fluid.
Also, they gave me an estimated due date.
