What is the age of consent with dating a minor for military personel?

They live in Maryland which the law says the age of consent is at 16, but he is not sure about he military law. What are the possible troubles that he may get into? Such as going military big, etc.

I have a 14-1/2 year old freshman daughter who was just asked to homecoming. I am allowing her to go, as they are going in a large group and I have just met the young man for the first time. I still maintain she’s too young to date one-on-one and she cannot get into a car with someone that I have not met/do not know. What rules have you set up with your teen and dating?
I have a 19 year old son who did not start dating until he was a junior/senior in high school. He was interested in school activities, sports and working - so I was not prepared for this to happen so soon.

Nothing really serious; just something like group dating or like walking home from school, sitting at lunch, etc. My parents are super strict and conservative, and are the no-sex-until-marrage type. I love my moral beliefs, values and parents, but how can I tell them this? They think I should just pay attention to school and my grades will drop. I’m a straight A student and I know that will never happen. If my grades fall, I’ll do everything in my power to fix it. My parents believe I’m not ready, but I’m pretty sure about this.
