Are big age difference in dating becoming a trend?

I mean ,are young dating people much older than they? It looks like everytime I watch the news female teachers having w/ students or hearing about cougars?
And the “cougars” in hollywood dating man when they where born in the cougar’s trend. Also at my school, girls and some guys are dating seniors in high school, early 20’s and 30’s.
Is this a popular trend nowadays?Also how can a guy have kids with a cougar?

    I dunno, I guess its cos girls look older these days..Like I have people mistaking me for in my 20’s even, but I date guys my age, the oldest I’ve dated is 17 and I’m 15..

    Id never date a guy in his 20’s..its just wrong I reckon..there must be some odd reason they have to go for young teens lol..

    My husband is 23 years older than me. I’m 24, he is 47.
    I didn’t start dating him to fulfill any trend, i started dating him because we got along well and had fun together. 6 years later, we are married and still get along great and have the best time together, we are truly deeply in love.
    I’m not sure what you mean by “cougar”, but I don’t think it is fair to classify someone as something because of who they date.

    It may not be a trend, but it is becoming more acceptable. I don’t think having children is the object of ‘cougars’.

    its not a trend if its real love. I am with a man 16 years older than me. We have been together for 4 years and are gettting married in October. I was 16 when i fell for him but he waited til I was 18 before he asked me out. There is nothing wrong with it as long as both parties are of legal age and its not some high school crush
